Catching Up

Super Mayme!
We've got to see a lot of Mayme lately and she's full of fun and games.

Here's Vin "painting" with shaving cream colored with food coloring. Mayme got this idea from Pinterest. They also "dyed" Eagle Brand milk and painted marshmallows. I missed all the fun because I had to teach class that night.

At the Stockshow with Superman!

Still at Stockshow, with the quintessential beer and corndog.

Llano Picnic
Chinese New Year Party
Kam, Teri & BJ

The host is a interior designer and is his office on the first floor of the house. I love the desks and the curtains. The rest of the room is fabric books and samples. I could live in that room!

Party Favors

Family Outings and Food
Our neighborhood is growing like crazy and we've got lots of new places to eat. This week we tried Hypnotic Donuts. They have donut toys for the kids to play with and crazy outrageous flavors. This reminded me of the Donut place we went to in Portland. In this pic Vin has on his hat Teri brought him back from Peru, he fit right in with the hippies at the shop.

Left: Orange Delight - orange glaze with Lucky Charms
Middle: The Homer - icing, sprinkles and marshmallows
Right: Jenny's Elvis - Peanut Butter, bananas, honey and bacon

Valentine's Day
We had a lunch date and ate our way through the afternoon!
We started at the Marquee Grill, which is just beautiful and was opened recetnly by one of the Top Chef contestants.

A classic Manhattan to get the lunch started.

Back: Tuna Tartar with Avocado Jalapeno Puree
Front" Crispy Duck Spring Rolls

Wood Grilled Salmon, Bacon Shallot Risotto, Pomegranate Brown Butter with marinated Tomatoes. Delicious!

And because Teri was not full after all that, we went next door to Patrizio's to have crab legs.

Ridiculous I know!

Here's some more Ridiculous. This was the lunch Teri made us on Sunday and no we didn't have a party it was just the three of us. Yes... ridiculous I know.

More Happy Valentines

If you look closely you'll see the red candy all over his lips.
