Day two

Started the day at Cafe Du Monde with beignets and coffee.

Two happy momma's

The weather's beautiful and we enjoyed some time in Jackson Square

Muffelita sandwich lunch. Oh so good! Next stop was the Southern food and American Cocktail Museum. Could you think of a better museum for Teri and I? They let us walk through with our drinks. I swear it's the only museum in the country that allows that.

Corn exhibit for Teri...

Cocktail exhibit for Kam...

After a long afternoon nap we went to the Roosevelt hotel for an original Sazarak cocktail.

Then on to one of the most delicious meals we've ever had at Mr. B's bistro.

Teri I am going to need you to recreate the Muffaletta sandwich for me- please! Mouth watering!
And also, the sisters at the N O Ursuline convent will happily allow you through their museum with giant Hurricane in hand and let you pose with Jesus statue while raising your glass. Er- maybe they just do that for Alumnae.
Looks like you're having a blast! So glad for you- you mamas deserve it!
