We bought the house in the heat of August, moved in during October and now I can’t wait to see what the neighborhood looks like when everything is green and alive again. Oh My God do I love spring! The last two days have been amazing and we’re loving getting outside in the warm sunshine and fresh air. Tonight I turned into a clone of Patty and was outside pulling weeds and sweeping the porch until it was too dark to see -hurry up time change!
Yesterday Vin and I rode our bike to the lake. I tracked our mileage and it’s exactly one mile. He got to feed the ducks for the first time and absolutely loved it. We went back again today and this time Teri came along and we ate our dinner at a picnic table. I had a moment where I thought, “This is what life is about. I couldn’t be happier than I am right now.” Each day I’m looking around at our life and I love our new house, and the neighborhood and I can’t wait until we’re outside all afternoon gardening and grilling out our dinner with the dogs and Vin running around acting like maniacs.

Fun! I know I am THRILLED about putting Mia in short sleeves today! It's the little things---I love Spring as well and can't wait for the mud to dry up and get out there working on our food garden. I miss my tomatoes. I'm so glad you are happy---this is what life is all about---not constant happiness but these "aha" intense moments. I would LOVE for Mia to be able to feed the ducks--maybe we can do this together during Spring Break?
