Ok everyone - hold your horses - we went to the Dr. today and once again the due date has changed. Now we are back to the original May 24th, one full week after we thought. I think they are just blindly guessing anyway since unlike most couples Teri and I know for sure what day we conceived Vincent. I've been rushing around like crazy with school and getting special permission from my Dean to give my finals early etc. Oh well, I will have about 2 weeks to relax, sleep in and watch movies before his arrival.
Tomorrow I have my breastfeeding class at Baylor - should be interesting! I'll report later.
On Friday we are going to Teri's work shower. We're really looking forward to it since Nikki the culinary intern is creating the menu and they are serving beer and mojitos. (For all the pregnant women out there, a virgin mojito tastes just like the real thing!)
You just have to love a company who allows happy hour to start at work at 3 p.m. on a Friday! Plus we love them since they have great domestic partner benefits.

I love reading blogs of friends and family and since Teri and I do have a lot of stuff going on in our lives these days we thought we'd give it a try. I figure I can fill tons of postings on preparing for Baby Vincent's arrival and other related things.
The last several months around our house have been crazy busy as we've simultaenoulsy prepared for the baby arrival and the shower. Some of our bigger projects included painting his room and furniture, getting new carpet and replacing the front patio railing. We are so lucky to have so many great friends and family that pitched in to help! By the time the shower date got here we had amazingly finished everything and were ready for the party!
Saturday was a wonderful night for Teri & I. My latest count has 63 guests attending, again we are so lucky to have everyone in our lives. By the end of the night the nursery was packed full of great baby stuff, all of it too cute for words! We also managed to raise a nice donation for the Operation Smile organization - thanks to everyone who participated!
